The rich hate the middle class.

The middle class don't like the poor. Middle class doesn't want slums near them, don't want affordable or section 8 housing near them, they don't even like driving through bad or poor areas.

The rich think of us as the poor and look down on the middle class and lower class.

The difference is the rich hate the middle and lower class while the middle class just doesn't care for the lower class. The rich hate us and regard us like servants almost, just there to do their dirty and hard work. A nuisance, a bother. They mock us as well.
