I believe it's a reference to this verse:

"Then those who revered G‑d spoke with one another, and G‑d hearkened and heard, and a book of remembrance was written before Him of those who revered the G‑d and who esteemed His name." (Avot 3:2)

It seems when I looked up Avot 3:2 most rabbis say it has to do with respecting the government and laws.

We're going to have to start printing stuff like that on our military equipment.

In Yiddish it translates to: Trump is a Feygele

It's Hebrew you ******* anti-semitic dipshit. Yiddish is written with the English alphabet.

God, you bigots are so ******* stupid!
Actually, no. Yiddish is written using the Hebrew alphabet.

Yiddish is written with the English alphabet.

In fact, Yiddish is most commonly written using a modified version of the Hebrew Alphabet.

Non-Jews are most familiar with English transliterations of Yiddish.

The guy's name was "Yaniv", a popular boy's name whose meaning is "he will prosper", etc. Not sure about the "2.3."; It could also be a letter "ts" which might be the first initial of his last name. The M-1 carbine was toted around by high-schoolers with a police escort on reserve duty in most Israeli cities through the 1980s or so.
