A Jewish man was shot and murdered by a terrorist in the Hebron Area

17 Israelis killed in the WB in the last five yrs
Road security has to be part of any negotiations.
People complain about the highway that did not have entry or exit near a WB town as apartheid but Israelis are supposed have road access through the WB as per one of the agreements.

Israelis kill Palestinians at a far greater rate. 17 Israelis versus a thousand or so Palestinians over the past 3 years. What an honest broker you are. LOL

Yousef al-Shawamrah, 14, was shot in the back and hip with live ammunition near his village of Deir al-Asal al-Fawqa, which sits alongside IsraelÂ’s separation barrier, on Wednesday March 19.

Israeli troops intentionally killing Palestinians in West Bank, says Amnesty International; Israel denies claim - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)

The boy was 16 according to his family ... >>A military spokeswoman said he was shot after he and two other youths were spotted tampering with a security fence near the village of Deir al-Asal al-Tahta. She said soldiers had called on them to stop and had fired warning shots in the air.

"After all means were exhausted, the soldiers shot toward the main suspect, at his lower body, and a hit was identified. An Israeli medical team took him to an Israeli hospital where he died of his wounds," the spokeswoman said.<<

There is a cause and effect that happens in the area.

Warning shots, water hoses, tear gas, flashbang grenades, rubber bullets, DMZ, fences, walls all to minimize the violence, to save lives.

PS. some news sites have his age as high as 19.
Does not make a difference, except perhaps as a hero to the boy, but either his father or uncle was a prisoner released for Shalit.

Why not say he was 35. Israeli propaganda is not shy.

Nor is Palestinian that will claim a man is a boy to get sympathy. Remember under P.A. laws he is a MAN at 14 and no longer a child.

Then the P.A. should be building more shelters for the civilians and arresting those terrorists that engage Israel from civilian areas.
The deaths of all Palestinian civilians lies in the hands of the P.A. as they should be enforcing International law after signing the relevant documents.
I wonder what the 14 year old MAN ( according to P.A. law he is a man at 14 and not a boy) was doing to be in the line of fire. Could he have been shooting at the Israelis, or acting as a human shield ?
So says the most ANTI SEMITIC NGO around, shows how much research you do into your links.

Time to give up your seat as you have failed to do anything but prove you are incompetent and only just semi literate

Actually he was shot in the back on village land when there were no hostilities in the area.

it was a protest where some of the protester got violent

When do protests get violent?

Israel Suspends Meeting With PA Over Hevron Shooting

Meeting was scheduled to take place today to save crumbling peace talks.

A meeting between Israeli and Palestinian Authority negotiators scheduled for Wednesday has been postponed, an official said, after the fatal shooting of an Israeli father near Hevron.

"The meeting that was planned for tonight between Israeli and Palestinian negotiating teams will not be taking place. It's being postponed," the Israeli official told AFP on condition of anonymity.

The official declined to explain the decision, but said Monday's killing of an Israeli police officer in the West Bank "was the direct result of ongoing incitement and glorification of terrorism that we see in the official Palestinian media and education system."

I just watched the funeral online.
When the arabs realize that Israel is not going anywhere, and they learn to live in peace with the Jewish people in their land, then there will be peace and cooperation. Until then the madness of the arabs targeting innocent men, women and children will continue.

When do protests get violent?

Depends on their race, religion and culture. In this case as soon as enough get together to egg each other on.

It seems that peaceful protests turn into riots when the riot police come to start a riot.

Hardly as you have it back asswards the riots start so the riot police get called in. Just look at the riot in Ramallah when two Jewish boys were beaten and tortured to death by the full town.
