Id have to agree. Why any republican would want to govern over this dump would be a head scratcher.

Republicans have a hard time in places where people expect their elected officials to do something.

I was talking about all the rural shitholes that continually send republicans to Washington to protect them from progress and prosperity.

1. Based on moral order - Trumpism has no morals.

2. Conservatives adhere to custom, convention and continuity - Trump unended every custom and tradition of the Presidency

3. Conservatives believe that we need to stand on the wisdom of the ages, and not gravitate to new ideas - But Trumpism seeks to reverse the progress of the ages and take us back to the 1950's, when White Men ruled and everyone else "knew their place". "Everyone else" is not prepared to go back.

4. Conservatives are guided by fiscal prudence. Trump doesn't even know the meaning of those words.

5. Conservatives believe in a class structure, and have no problems with inequity. Trumpism agrees.

6. Conservatives believe that humans aren't perfect. Trump is a prime example.

7. Conservatives believe in private property. Trump does not. Trump believes in "emminent domain". If he can make money off your land, he should be able to take. Trump has used Emminent Domain, or rather tried to, in order to seize privately owned property so he could build condos and make money.

8. Conservatives hold the principle of volunatary community. Trumpism holds the belief in no community. Every man woman and child for themselves.

9. Conservatives believe in the prudent restraint of power. Trump believes there is no point in having the nukes if you're not going to use them.

10. True conservatism seeks to balance the between permanence and change. Trumpism doesn't address either.

There is a real lack of Republicans in the Great State of New York. Cuomo has done an efficient job of driving them out to Florida and other locations.

However, there may be a few good choices out there. Carl Paladino lost previously to Fredo- an "I told you so" campaign theme could be successful.

Long Island's own Sean Hannity still lives there and has a tremendous base as well as a soapbox.

If Hannity can't win, there is little point in running anyhow.

The great thing about the Great American is that he has his own soapbox and it wouldn't cost much for someone that well known to run.
