Cooda wooda shooda. The Allies hijacked most of the brilliant minds in the remnants of the Nazi empire after the war.
 
There was already a powerful fighter, the Me 262 jet fighter with 1433 pieces built.
Had Hitler not prioritized the Me 109, the plane would have went to series production in 1943 and had Hitler not ordered to make a "biltzbomber" out of it, not half of the planes were destroyed on the ground by allied attacks.

The Me 262 was able to fight opponents with its guns and R4M air-to-air missiles.
