I have not seen anyone detail this yet so here is a rundown of just how badly Iran was caught with their pants down. Apparently they thought they were safe from attack due to ongoing peace talks with the USA. Israel proved otherwise. Aside from their main nuclear production facilities heavily damaged, Israel took out more than 20 key figures in Iran. Experts say Iran was about half way between enrichment for commercial energy needs and making it to weapons grade nuclear material. I've heard 60% as a figure (90% is needed for a weapon).

Among those killed by Israel include:

• A nuclear scientist.
• Chief of the General Staff.
• Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Aerospace Force.
• Commander of the Khatam-al Anbiya Central Headquarters and Deputy Chief of the General Staff.
• Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
• Rear Admiral and Minister of the Revolutionary Guard.
• A theoretical physicist.

Hopefully the population is able to overcome the brute oppression of the theocracy and take back their country. How does a seismic shift that's going to take some doing however.
