A Cold War Novel

Waltzing in the Shadows takes place toward the end of the Cold War and is set in Vienna, Austria. This first chapter is to set the tone for the story that follows. Many of you are too young to remember the time of extreme tensions between Russia, the Warsaw Pact, and the western allies.

I hope you enjoy and am looking forward to reactions.
