Eighty-three percent (83%) of Pennsylvania voters say it’s important to reform Pennsylvania’s voting laws before the next election. A Political IQ survey found that just 11% disagree.

Those totals include 63% who say election law reform is Very Important and only 3% who say it is Not at All Important.

There’s also strong support for many specific reforms:

88% agree that, prior to the election, government agencies should clean the voter registration files and remove the names of all who have moved or died.
75% strongly approve of requiring all mail-in ballots to be received by Election Day.
68% think government agencies should be required to report the vote totals from all ballots on Election Night.
88% believe both Republican and Democratic party officials should be allowed in the room for every step of the ballot collection and ballot counting procedures.
75% say all voters who cast their ballot in person should be required to show a photo ID before voting.
For those who mail in their ballot, 58% believe they should be required to include a copy of their photo ID.
56% want ballot harvesting to be outlawed.
Additionally, 69% want mail-in ballots sent only to those who request them. Twenty-seven percent (27%) believe they should be sent to all voters.

Lest you think this survey was doneonly with conservatives:

The online survey of 1,000 Registered Voters in Pennsylvania was conducted by Scott Rasmussen from November 16-19, 2020. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. Respondents were selected from a list of Registered Voters and through a process of Random Digital Engagement. Certain quotas were applied and the sample was lightly weighted by geography, gender, age, race, education, and political party to reasonably reflect the state’s population of Registered Voters. Other variables were reviewed to ensure that the final sample is representative of that population. Among the respondents who voted in the presidential election, 50% voted for Biden, 46% for Trump, and 3% for some other candidate. The actual vote count in Pennsylvania shows Biden at 50%, Trump at 49%, and Libertarian Jo Jorgensen at 1%. The margin of sampling error for the full sample is +/- 3.1 percentage points.

All the above is in direct contrast to HR 1, the bill recently passed in the House that would take everything out of state and local hands and federalize it. If you want a permanent one-party gov't, that's the way to do it. And don't think the democrats aren't aware of that, the pressure is mounting on Manchin and Sinema to abolish the filibuster and make the Senate a simple majority rule.

I hope to God the PA legislature follows through on these reforms, along with every other state. In the minds of many, the reliability and accuracy of the 2020 election remains in doubt. Hopefully the states will do something to improve or restore somewhat the trust we used to have in our election system.

The thread which suggests "reform" is a joke. In all Red States the Republican Governors and legislatures know they cannot win on their policies, thus they seek to make voting more difficult and suppress the vote of minorities, especially.

The GOP supports the wealthiest people and corporations; thus the party has become an enemy of the middle classes, the working poor, the aged, the children, the infirm - in short the masses: Those who provide the labor and those who are stuck in a caste system.

All say Rasmussen is biased right so the OP is wishful BS, likely due mostly to loading the questions. That said we do have lots of self-entitled dopes living here.

Trash the machines!

Rasmussen is a phony pollster. Whqat HR 1 would do is to provide a bill of rights for voters to counter Republican attempts to make it harder to vote. That is evil.

Wrong. How many unsigned ballots were cast? How many phony mail-in ballots? Subtract them from the roles and see what happens. Who made the change to mail-in ballots? The state legislature? That's what the United States Constitution dictate. Were Republican poll watchers allowed? Fuck no. Dirty ass communist Democratic Political machine in Pennsylvania.

In 2020 PA had a reliable election. Your small hands prevent you from acknowledging that fact.
How many unsigned ballots can you offer proof of?

Or what proof of anything can you offer?

They are wise to the "Big Steal of 2020"
What is this Big Steel you talk about.....?
Presidential election stolen with mail-in ballots. If you can get to the grocery store, you can find a way for register to vote get an ID and during the 15 to 20 day early voting period and cast a traceable ballot with a human chain of custody.
Ya sure and fire comes from your ass.
Don't you worry prick. When mail in ballots are ruled unconstitutional Trump will win your fucking state in 2024.
And that state is......?

Again, what actual proof of voter fraud can you present.
