80th Anniversary of Liberation of Auschwitz

Its today. What a strange day to reflect on the state of the modern world.
The death camp was liberated by Soviet troops. Yet Russias leader was not invited due to his fascist attacks on Ukraine.
Russia is downplaying the significance of the event and choosing to focus on the 24mil russians who died in the war. They do have a point. But I wonder if they have tajen this tack to deflect from the outlaw satus of putin.
Zelensky was there representing Ukraine. An actual Hewish man paying homage.

Never mind at least Israel will be represented. Not quite. Netanyahu spent the day with his lawyers in an Israeli court trying to stay out of jail. He could have made the trip and faced arrest for his fascist attempt at genocide in Gasa.

But he has work to do preparing for the resumption of the war after he has the hostages back.

I dont think trump was there or his buddy Musk. Maybe that is for the best. They have had their fill of nazis over there.

Its a sick world and we have learned nothing.
