Yes, Adolf Hitler committed suicide in his bunker 80 years ago today. Hitler and his leftist socialists were granted power in 1933 and only lost it after tens-of-millions of deaths and cataclysmic destruction!

We don't know that for sure because Ike was ordered by the FDR administration to halt American Troops and allow his Stalinist friends, the Russian hoard, to take Berlin and presumably credit for winning the war. The Russians invaded the bunker, presumably shat on the floor and screwed the most important forensic investigation in history.

There weren't many men as selfish as he was. Sending the youth and old men in civilian clothing and little to no training to meet their demise as a last ditch effort to stop the Russians. Like the Japanese, they refused to protect their citizens by making the obvious decision for the sake of lives: surrendering.

I think it was Goebbels and his wife who poisoned their 6 kids and then they both committed suicide.

There are pockets of the world today where such crazy people exist and it's up to the West to prevent them from winning.

General George Patton's Third Army was ordered to halt its advance in Czechoslovakia, specifically before reaching Prague, by Supreme Allied Commander Dwight D. Eisenhower. This decision was made to avoid a confrontation with the Red Army, which was already advancing into the region. Patton and his troops had liberated parts of Czechoslovakia, including Pilsen, but were told to halt their advance on Prague.

Hitler was right-wing. Fascism is a right-wing philosophy.

Ike didn't call the shots on his own. FDR dictated strategy and FDR was friends with "Uncle Joe" Stalin.

Prague Is a Plague of Pansies

The Czechs were cowards and didn't deserve liberation. Cowardice is the crime that enables all others. Those who condone what the Chickenhawks did during Vietnam, which was First Degree Murder, flash a yellow streak when they have a pity-party for the Czechs.

The Czechs WW2 resistance dismissed as pansies and Vietnam chickenhawks? What?
