Fun Fact - Barry Gibbs wife inspired this song from driving over a causeway bridge in Miami, Fl. The bump bump bump rhythm of tires hitting the joints. Originally entitled "Drive Talking" The entire rhythm of the song comes from that sound.

It was a soundtrack song for the movie by the same name.
70s was jam packed with different sounds and music - the black "ghetto funk" is certainly a part of the "sound of the 70s"

I was a fan of REO too, I actually saw them in 1984... touring with Survivor.
I had the albums -
"Tuna", Nine Lives, Hi Infidelity and Good Trouble. None after that.
I struggled with Good Trouble. I found it formulaic and kind of cheesy TBH
Like Journey, the 80s came and downhill they went - chasing the ballads.
