You may be under the impression that your pets have to stay at home when you head out to certain places, but there are plenty of places you can bring them. Thank you Drew Curtis' FARK and BuzzFeed @ 7 Unexpected Places You Can Bring Your Pets

Certain shops will allow pets, but many don't, sadly.

My town is very dog friendly. I've had my dog on the city bus. That's saying something considering his pedigree .

Here in Europe they never allow that. They are chasing us away when we bring pets near the bus :S

It used to be like that here, and the rules clearly say "no dogs" but everyone here has dogs. Even the grub houses have seating on the patio for customers with dogs. Bummer for you. I was under the impression Europe was far more dog friendly then us.

I see people with dogs in the Walmart near my house all the time. Apparently management at Walmart just looks away. People will have a new puppy in their cart and they'll be in the pet aisles buying supplies for the new pup. They'll also have them on leashes, and while sometimes they are service dogs, I'm sure they're not always service dogs. I think Walmart is very cool about it.

And, of course, I see dogs all the time in the various pet supply stores, like Petsmart, etc.

The hospitals where I live allow you to bring dogs in to visit patients. When my dad was in the hospital I brought my miniature pinscher, Fritz, in to visit him. They just required that Fritz have a bath and have his nails trimmed before I brought him in. I didn't carry him in, I walked him in on a leash, because he is a proud, tough little dude. : ) I think he cheered up every single person who saw him. : )

He was up on the hospital bed with my dad and everything. Very cool. Probably did more for my dad's morale than just about anything else we tried.

I could have brought one of my dobermans, but decided to take the easy route and bring the miniature pinscher! : )

Solve the problem by getting a guide dog harness and a pair of sunglasses.

Number 4 and 5, I see no issue. The rest, nope. I would not work in an office with pets, nor would I frequent and establishment that would allow the pets.

I feel ya, but in the same instance, its nice to be able to sit on the patio with the dog.
