Tomorrow is the 42nd anniversary of the IDF supported two day massacre in the Sabra and Shatila Palestinian camp in Lebanon by their Phalangist Fascist allies when people were butchered raped and mutilated by the facsist killers, the IDF provided search lights and flares all night to help the killers Ariel Sharon the butcher of Beirut was in total control of the area, the IDF have not changed in all those years.

Part of the ongoing Palestinian war. Apparently the attack was in response to the 1976 Damour massacre which was in turn a response to the Karantina massacre. You can blame Israel but the PLO and it's fringe elements was at the heart of all the atrocities as it is today. Ten years later the PLO leader Yassir Arafat was the darling of the Clinton administration.

I do blame the Israelis, they were in control of the area and the camp they allowed the Phalange to run riot.

Nobody was in control. It was an ongoing thirty year or more civil war. Arafat was more in control than Sharon but strangely enough Arafat became the darling of the Clinton administration. It's easy to find photos of Bill and Yassir smooching for the cameras.

Sharon and the IDF WERE in control of that area that is just a fact, all the PLO had left the camp.
