President Trump on Friday commuted the three-year prison sentence for Republican operative Roger Stone, who was to report to a federal prison on Tuesday after being found guilty of obstruction, witness tampering and lying to Congress.

A self-described “dirty trickster” who sports a large tattoo of former President Richard Nixon on his back, Stone, 67, will be spared further time behind bars.

People, especially GOPers, need to stop thinking it is going to be Trump V Biden in 24. If that were the case, then the GOP is all good, or even if Trump V Cameltoe, that would be even better; but the odds are better than 50-50, it will be neither of them.

You are going to see the Dems put up someone they can sell as a moderate Trojan Horse candidate that has little baggage to get the independent vote. When faced with all of the baggage of Trump or a moderate, you know what the independents will do? Because they do not follow politics closely, they will follow the path of least resistance and controversy. That is what independents almost always do!

Yes, of course the Left will be lying like hell, but what do you expect them to do, tell the truth!

We as Conservatives, have to be pragmatic, like it or not. We do NOT want to wake up in November, the day after the election in 2024, only to discover we lost! 2024 is NOT about getting the best man elected but the hardest to push in, but rather about keeping the WORST out of office. We have already seen how fast the WORST can screw things up quickly. As Americans, we have to think about that looooooong and hard, before we decide to roll the dice.

"New data shows 42 percent of Americans want Donald Trump back in office in 2024. The number is 40 percent (14 points) higher than those who want Biden back (28 percent). Another 27 percent told Rasmussen Reports they would prefer “somebody else” other than the 2020 competitors.

Ask if Joe Biden’s presidency has been good or bad for the long-term success of the United States, 52 percent said “bad,” while just 34 percent said it has been “good”. Eleven percent said Biden’s presidency has not made much of a difference to America’s long-term fortunes.

While 66 percent of Republicans said they wanted Trump back, just 57 percent of Democrats said they wanted Biden in 2024, with almost double the number of Democrats (19 percent) picking Trump over Republicans who chose Biden (10 percent). Support for the pair is equally shared amongst moderates (33 percent each), with another 32 percent of moderates picking “somebody else.”

I think for Dementia the only reason he ran is because his wife wanted to be first lady so bad she could taste it, and Joe will do anything for his family. If Dr. Jill had her fill, he won't even think of reelection. But the left has nobody besides Whorris who people hate. That laughing hyena gets on everybody's nerve.

If Trump decides not to run, at least we have DeSantis to fill in if the GOP can convince him to try for the job. Trump beat Hillary in 2016, and gained 7 million more voters in 2020. It's clear that people like what Trump did, just not his personality so much.

So whoever runs for the Republicans, they have to take a tough stance on the southern border and do everything Trump did or tried to do. Lower taxes, much lower fuel prices, better trade deals especially with China, and attack the MSM when they attack him or her first. We on the right have been disgusted with our Presidents who whimpered away when the MSM came down on them. We like a person who when hit, hits back twice as hard.
