Well, Trump believes to strike when the iron is hot. Their plan seems to be to run South America by the sea. The USA will station a flotilla offshore and if Venezuela steps out of line, they bomb them into submission. The Donroe Doctrine plans to take over South America as well as destroy BRICKS.

The USA, Venezuela and Ghana make up 1/3 of the world's oil reserves. Along with many minerals the USA wants. Once the USA has those reserves under their control it will be energy independent and beyond. They discuss why Trump / USA is doing all this in the video below.



And if the USA can take over Canada, that is more oil under its control.

The great Noam Chomsky has spoken quite a lot about political positions one can hold in the US being within the bounds of an acceptable construct. The construct putting limitations on what can even be seriously discussed.
