The conference will include an exercise where participants will simulate the decision-making process for developing deflection and civil defense responses to a hypothetical asteroid threat."

I hope that they will have videos available to the public of some of the lectures. The American Geophysical Union does that, and it is a wonderful source to keep up with what is new in geology and geophysics.
