Holy cow. Does EVERY government employee have a subscription?

I don't think ANY media outlet should endorse a politician. It's nothing but bias and insulting to citizens.

Endorsements are generally overrated regardless, media or individual citizen

In the wake of billionaire owner Jeff Bezos’ decision to block The Washington Post from endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris last week, 200,000 people canceled their digital subscriptions to the news organization by midday Monday, NPR reported—equating to about 8% of the newspaper’s paid circulation

You don't live in America. The post is not only subscibing to government employees. The Posts decision was not to endorse either Presidential candidate not just Harris.

Well, that’s cancel culture for ya. Both sides do it.

The difference here is that, in this case, bezos just wants to remain neutral, and the left isn’t having it. They are going to try and force them to choose a side.

They did the same thing with coke.

Yeah but the story seems to indicate that it was a bunch of lefty’s that canceled.

Yes, but the 200,000 people who unsubscribed did it because the WaPo didn't endorse Harris.

They aren't protesting for not endorsing Trump...

The fact is that the Post didn't endorse either candidate.

Yep, And the last time they didn't make an endorsement was in 1988 when they wouldn't endorse Dukakis.

A non-endorsement from the WaPo is a gut punch for Harris's campaign.

No one was saying "Gee, I wonder who the post will endorse?" It's assumed that they will endorse the democrat, whoever they are.

Why do you think 200K people cancelled their subscriptions?

Excuse me, but isn't that how fascists operate???
Fascists don't believe in freedom of choice.
They punish you for not thinking and acting in lock-step with them.

Proving once again who the fascists REALLY are.

That's the reward for cowardice.

It might be a reward for all of us. That's like 8% of their paid subscribers, that's a big hit. Bezos might need to tone it down if he wants new subscribers.

I never had a subscription to the WP. I cancelled my Amazon Prime

So, all those loons want nothing but Left-wing propaganda till the end of time?

Color me surprised.

At least they admit they want their news slanted toward the DNC or they don't want any news at all.

Baby steps.

The story doesn't seem to indicate anything. Your bias makes you believe that.

Again, the article seems to indicate it was lefty’s that canceled.

It is freaking Washington

Did they miss that Jan 6 stuff?

I can't believe how much the libs are whining because a billionaire named Bezos refuses to get behind their candidate and try to buy the election for them.
