Hell has frozen over. Chasing a guy the wrong way on the busiest highway in North America because he lifted some booze is the definition of asinine.

Maybe I am wrong about the chief or maybe the heat is starting to boil as citizens are engaging in more video recording, some mayors (very few) are rejecting 23% police budget increases and the U.S are building their annual reports from the State Department, calling Canada out.]

This is more rare than a moon landing in Canada. Police charged when their illogical decisions lead to the death of a family. I can support good cops but not reckless behaviour developed after decades of avoiding accountability of any kind.

America is watching. I just wish some corrupt cops wouldn't help the bad apples out.

Two Durham police officers have been charged in connection with a multi-vehicle collision last spring that killed four people, including two grandparents and their infant grandchild, following a police chase of a suspect driving the wrong way on Canada's busiest highway, Ontario's police watchdog says.

Sgt. Richard Flynn and Const. Brandon Hamilton have been charged with three counts each of criminal negligence causing death and two counts each of criminal negligence causing bodily harm, the Special Investigations Unit said in a news release Friday.

Both officers are required to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Oshawa on Feb. 13.
