1993 SIG Sauer P220 Stainless in .45 acp.

I picked this one up today in a trade.

I was never a SIG fanboy but I really liked the feel of this one plus I have shot it before....Very accurate.

I was sort of surprised the owner got rid of it but he knew I had and extra Colt Cobra to get rid of so we met at the pawn shop and did the paperwork/trade.

It was about a wash value wise.

I ordered a set of OEM plastic grips for it as it has Houge rubber grips on it.

It has night sights but at this point they are pretty dim.

According to the date code it was made in 1993.

It came with five mags and a nice Italian-made Vega holster.

Cool! I have thought seriously about picking up a P220, but most likely in 10mm and the Legion version. I owned a Legion P226 in .357 Sig but sold it a few years ago. Now I miss it.

Yeah, these days my W. German marked example is considered a "classic" P220.

I got in the OEM grips. I like them much better than the rubber ones.
