It's not a handgun I would normally buy but I have several boxes of ammo for it and the price was right ($350) so I figured why not. It came with the holster.

It's a J-Frame square-butt and one advantage is it holds an extra round (6) over it's Model 36 "Chief's Special" 5-round .38 special cousins....It's in great shape.

Before S&W went with model numbers it was called the .32 Regulation Police and built on the just slightly smaller I-frame.

I understand that Buffalo Bullets make an excellent 100gr hard cast wadcutter SD round for it.
