Gettysburg, Day Two, July 2, 1863. Lee attacks the flanks of the Union Army.
Minutes before the attack a Professor of Theology has his 20th Maine positioned at the extreme left flank on a hill called Little Round Top and told to hold at all cost. After repelling multiple assaults the 20th Maine is out of ammunition. Col. Chamberlain does the only thing he can do. Jeff Daniels did a fantastic job recreating the scene:
