15 Aug 2014: Allen West: "Barack Hussein Obama is an Islamist"

President Barack Obama is an Islamist who is intentionally working against the security of the United States, said former Florida Rep. Allen West.

"The only plausible explanation for many actions taken by President Obama and his administration is that they are working counter to the security of the United States of America," the retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel wrote in a post on his website on Wednesday.

West cited the president's decision to release five senior Taliban members in the exchange for Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl; supplying weapons to support the Egyptian government led by the Muslim Brotherhood; and negotiating with Hamas.

He also criticized Obama's decision to suspend a ban on Libyans attending U.S. flight schools and studying nuclear science, which had been in place since 1983.

"Can anyone explain what the strategy and objective is here in lifting this ban with a nation that is or should be on the terrorist watch list?" West wrote.

"Sorry, but I can only explain this one way: Barack Hussein Obama is an Islamist in his foreign policy perspectives and supports their cause."

He added, "The pivot away from the Middle East seems to be nothing more than an opportunity to enable Islamists and their goals. Anyone supporting this Libyan ban being lifted is indeed an enemy of this state."

Allen West: Obama Is an Islamist

Col. West is no extremist or RW kook.

Is the coward West out of cash already, and therefore desperate to get back into the news again? Shocking...

You ******* NaziCon scumbags have turned "patriot" into a dirty word. Plus, now I can't even stand to look at a teabag without my stomach churning.

Yeah, it takes a very brave man to threaten to kill and then fire a gun next to the ear of a fully-restrained and guarded POW. My Captain, My Hero...

Eh? Islamist? Don't you a mean a global corporatist? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/anis-shivani/the-corporatist-explanati_b_434286.html

At least get the terms right, as Islamists are fans of mixed-economics and are down right opposed to any form of economic globalization - their focus is religious doctrine and spreading their religion in an often violent and repressive manner across the world.

Stop being so ready to fully invest every flash in the pan fad or movement. Instead just keep your eyes focused on the traditional American values and you'll be alright.

Patriot is still the same as it once was.

YOU changed.

And the original Tea Party was to protest taxation without representation. So is the current Tea Party.

You are trying to use the Tea Party as something revolting but what the current Tea Party stands for is no different than the original Tea Partyers.

They haven't changed.

YOU changed.

I don't think he was trying to demonstrate bravery with that tactic.

I think he was trying to influence an enemy captive.

My hero, Col. West, probably succeeded.

Raping the POW's ten-year-old daughter would have produced the same results. "Influence" like that, I can do without, thanks all the same...

And it worked. He got the information he wanted and no further attacks took place against his battalion until after he was relieved of duty.

With such success, why did the military take legal action against him, fine him thousands of dollars, and send him packing? Are they just pussies?

Congratulations, PMH! You have just swerved uncontrollably into the truth. The military is the newest victim of political correctness. Welcome to reality.

So, the US military are just PC pussies while West is a hero for threatening to kill an unarmed, restrained, and guarded POW? Sure thing. Got it now.

Tell me SJ, those Japanese soldiers we executed after WWII for water-boarding American POWs, were we wrong to do so? They were just seeking information to protect their troops right? Weren't they heroes, like West?

The British were about to drop the price of Tea and was backed by Tea Smugglers who would have been put out of business by the low price. That has documented by both countries involved. History is made you of myths, an attempt to make motives appear to be more honorable than they were with some facts thrown in.

As far as Taxes were concerned what were they for? They were to pay for the cost of the French and Indian Wars. Oh, that was only to protect the Colonists!

Why did the Pilgrims come to the New World? Let's see! They went to the Netherlands to find religious freedom. In what we now call Holland they found it. They were not satisfied with that so many returned to England. Wait a minute, wasn't that the country they left in order to have Freedom of Religion? Well maybe we can leave that out od US History. We will go to the New World for Religious Freedom., we can have religious freedom there. The structure of the colony was worse for anyone who did not agree with them than they had experienced in England. They weren't seeking religious freedom, they wanted to be in charge.

I guess you think the Civil War happened over Slavery?
