    so very true.thats the same with my aunt who is still around at 90.all her friends mostly are all gone and she keeps outliving them.I always m, shocked when i hear someone tell me they are in their 50;s because i always expect them to look much older in their 70's or so because i have been blessed with good genes not looking my age.

    people always tell me i look like im in my mid 20's. they all have grey hair and mine is still brown so i always expect people that are my age to be in their 70's and am always shocked when they tell they are my age.lol

    Whoa! Tell me what brand of whiskey you drink so I can buy a case. (As Lincoln is supposed to have said about Grant, when a delegration of lady Temperance crusaders turned up at the White House to complain about the fact that Grant was a notorious whiskey drinker. But he was winning battles, so Lincoln supposedly said, find out what brand he drinks and buy a case for each of my other generals.

    Well if I ever have children and that happens, I'll make sure that they get to celebrate both their birthday and Christmas with presents. Although Christmas is more than just gifts, it's still fun for kids to get presents from Santa Claus on Christmas morning. :)

    Well, I think some of them are doing so. Check out the people at Quilette.com, for example. The move of the Left towards authoritarianism is making genuine liberals uneasy. We need to devise strategies to bring these people closer.

    But these people are intellectuals, important, but numerically small. What we really need to do is concentrate on winning over the 'middle' -- people who might vote Democrat, but who don't want to defund the police, or see their children taught about the joys of gay sex. It was these people who recalled leftist school board members and the son-of-Weathermen DA in San Francisco, of all places, a few months ago.
