  • You'll probably find that this will be the case as long as you keep pretending that only free market capitalistas comprehend economics despite the shit storm outside our collective window. I'm a big fan of evidence, dude. Were it NOT the case that WSJ conservatives are willing to sacrifice this nation for the sake of cheap labor or NOT the case that my own state almost had another nuke plant not even 45 miles from my home then I would not be as tenacious. As it is... I don't dislike you as a poster, Xeno. I enjoy the sparring. Ask Toro and the rest who hover around the econ forums. But, I am a product of the Show Me State and i'm just not willing to get wrapped up in rhetorical bullshit that continues to choke our economy. as it is...
For a guy who is unwilling to even fathom solutions besides letting China continue to **** us in the ass and pretending Trade Deficits don't count as long as there is a libralll to blame you are going to have to forgive me for not putting much stock into your talking points. Sure, I don't want to default on loans from China either but I also am not willing to pretend they are economic paladins while we continue enjoying the short end of the trade deficit stick. If you consider this fronting on China then so be it. Starving the boat results in the same as capsizing it. As far as energy is concerned.. well, you pretty much ate the big one with the nuclear challenge. Ameren UE is not building a new plant because of librallls rejecting it. They are not because of the same greedy cancer that is rife in capitalista perspective. You can blame libbbraaallllls all you want but the rhetorical bullshit just doesn't float.
ya, dude.. you go ahead and keep thinking that after I dropped some Ameren UE evidence on your silly little dream bubble.
Indeed. One would have to go a long way to do so. Not sure you really want to commit to that. ;)
is it ridiculous? or is it what it usually costs? in which case, it's ridiculous, but not out of the ordinary.
You know that, I know that, others are willing to know that....Which just make the fucktards more evidently fucktardy!!
i know, but government costs money. should it be done efficiently as possible? of course... but how else would they provide a website that allows you to access what we're spending and where. i thought that was what you guys wanted. it doesn't come free... which is why i asked if the costs were out of line in relation to what govt usually spends for this kind of service.
