Yes I recall my Grandma(rest her soul) reading it to me as a young kid. Although she never finished 4th grade, she taught herself how to read, and read voraciously. I heard the same poem in a literature class many years later.

Unfortunately, it's the people who DO want our lives mucked about with by other people and big intrusive government who are running things now.
