I believe EVERYBODY hates it when thier dumbery is exposed. I do have at least some credibility on the subject in that I have flown into and out of many difficult strips and never damaged an aircraft. Maybe in the military the pilot isn't held responsible but in the civilian aviation world PIC actually means something.
