  • Good day, to you and Trakar, who know faculty, at places such as PSU and OSU, where I know somebody. We may bump, in the course of business.
my pleasure OR. I think reconstructions trick people into thinking they are more accurate and precise than they really are but they are useful if taken in the right context.
thank you again for the rep.

I am serious about building an Earthship style house to retire in. I figure if I build it out of pocket, and not on credit, when I retire and sell my house I can roll the equity into my returement funds. Plus the advantage of building it yourself, in part or in whole, gives you more insight on how to maintain it, and the design is low energy consumption and the durability is potentially limitless. I mean, how do you destroy a steel belted radial that is packed hard with dirt?
    Thanks for the rep!

Funny thing is they did jump on me. My entire post was quoting the article linked by the original poster which they ALL agreed with lol.

Aint it funny when their minds are made up before theyve even seen any evidence one way or the other.
thanks for the rep Old Rocks.
BTW my wife got her masters at Univ Texas at Arlington in vulcanology.
Dont know why she didnt pick a *real* field of science, you know, one that requires some math, lolol.
Nah, I just tease her some.
Ha..Ha... I nixed your "thanks" when I went back in and corrected a spelling error. Thanks!
Ya...that's how I see it. There is no shame in wishing we had done better at times. There is no arrogance knowing we are the best and sometimes the only hope for the human race.
