Well, they are interconected, we don't understand what we were, and we don't underatand what we are. As far as WWII goes, its 65 years of propaganda about crusades and good guys and a lot of what really happened is lost.

I have a few conservative friends (Who oddly start to sound a lot like liberals when we talk politics, another topic entirely) who send me a lot of this stuff. 99% are pure BS, I like to "Reply to all" with the corrections, and often a link to the snope page. Sometimes it doesn't go over too well with recipients.
