You misunderstand, I never said only free market capitalists solve everything. Unregulated capitalism is a disaster as it will run out of control. I'm a pragmatic type about solving problems, you have to work with what you have, not with utopian ideals.
Until the debt issue is worked on, nothing else can really be done, Cap & Trade is simply a swindle, a new way for people to make money off us all of us while providing no services and no goods whatsoever. Like Insurance and the law industries(yes, to me it is an industry) it will exist as a parasitical thing, sucking money and giving nothing, while those that created it rake in the cash, and the poor get poorer.
I don't dislike you either even though you are sometimes over the top on certain issues, but I also don't see a need to keep saying the same thing over and over again.
You believe C & T has value. I see it as the ruination of what's left of our economy. We are not going to change our postions.
I think we can pretty much say we ain't going to reach common groud on it.
Sho, try to understand, you can't just not pay people a debt and think you can squeeze them. It really is that simple. C & T is just a new way for the rich to get richer, it won't help anything but the bank account of people like Al Gore.
