Not only is it astounding that the woman claims to admire Mao, she doesn't even quote his history correctly. The USA was fully aware China was lost by 1944, which is why the CBI was ignored and the Pacific war was ramped up. The USA had good relations with Mao, and its a quirk of history that one of the US advisors sent to meet with Mao was John Birch, for whom the society is named.
