My wealth is like a tool laying in toolbox. It is neither being used for anything constructive, or destructive (by me anyway). It's just waiting, at the ready. In the meantime, others are using it, what for is anyone's guess.

The American Dream is basically the dream of most people on earth: Health, wealth, and happiness (not necessarily in that order).
Sadly, many do everything they can achieve the opposite. :(
My needs are easily met as well as my wants. I'm a minimalist who lives a spartan lifestyle as well as having few activity interests. Those interests that I do have are inexpensive. I do have a lot of money, but my kids and grandkids will get that. To me it's just numbers.
The American Dream is realized by millions every day. Of course, it isn't the dream most complain about not being able to afford. You spend your money on the things that are important to you. That is your American Dream. Some examples are,
College education.
Latest fashion clothes.
Smart...
All giving is voluntary, even in the LDS church. However, more 'pressure' is put on members of "tithing" churches than those who simply pass the plate.
Everyone dies. It's just a matter of time. If we execute these people rather than imprisoning them for life, what have they lost, really? I also think there are better things for jailors to do than watch a bunch of criminals get old and die (anyway).
