Is the US losing the Climate Tech war?

Holds you back from creating jobs and earning export dollars. So many Americans still believe climate change won't actually touch them, so they aren't reacting to the situation with any sense of ugrency. In other countries, it is exactly the conservatives who are pushing for private sector...

Is the US losing the Climate Tech war?

SJ - And that is Exactly the thinking that holds the US back, isn't it? I do invest in climate tech, btw.

Hitler, Fascism and the right wing

True, but what is an undisputed fact is that ALL of the regimes I listed were either Fascist or Para-Fascist. There were also Fascist allies that arguably were not Fascist, but I have not referenced those on this thread. The key point being that we can build up an accurate impression of the...

Bill - Can you please change the thread title to something honest? Thanks.

Is the US losing the Climate Tech war?

You are wrong - obviously - for blaming the Democrats for the failure of climate tech firms, when you know full well that the Democrats have generally supported Climate Tech more more than the Luddite GOP, who still refuse to even accept that climate change is happening. Neither party have a...

Hitler, Fascism and the right wing

An overview of Antonescu: Ion Victor Antonescu (Romanian pronunciation: [iˈon antoˈnesku] ( listen); June 15, 1882 – June 1, 1946) was a Romanian soldier and authoritarian politician who was convicted of war crimes. The Prime Minister and Conducător during most of World War II, he presided over...

Hitler, Fascism and the right wing

All of the countries listed were fascist. By all means go and check. Romania under Antonescu, Paraguay under Stroessner, Spain under Franco, and Hungary under the Iron Guard. You could also add in Ustache Croatia and one or two others. One of the baffling things about this thread has been...

Hitler, Fascism and the right wing

Well, it emerged in Romania, Paraguay, Spain and Hungary, didn't it? And in some of those cases did so with the support of monarchy, did it not?

Hitler, Fascism and the right wing

Actually, I don't equate them...perhaps if you read the thread first? Hitler is one example of fascism. Fascism is simply one variation of extremist right-wing politics. There are many others. btw, What does it tell us about you, that you consider reading to be snobbery?

You really have to bring partisan politics into everything, don't you? Every single thread, every single topic for you is about 'my team = good, your team = bad'? Honestly, what a child you are.

Who knew BriPat could be ironic? Seriously man, you recommending books is like a homeless guy dispensing interior decorating tips. Also interesting that the books you recommend are self-published and apprently littered with typos and printing errors. Clearly very authoritive stuff!

Australia more violent than the U.S...and they can't have guns....

Hipeter - Sydney isn't bad at all. There are some suburbs, particularly in the west, that aren't great areas to live in, but in general I think it's a fairly safe city to live in. Most people walk around without worrying. It's not the kind of city where you get off at the wrong train station...

religious freedom or a way to turn back time for women

Yes, what you posted IS a lit. It's nonsense. No one has EVER claimed that homosexuals cannot commit rape, and if they have - then present the evidence. Otherwise, come back and admit to lying. That may help you understand why others do it too, no?

You really don't read well do you, Bill? More people are shot in the US than almost every other western country combined - and stats on the other crimes are generally quite close.
