Most of the comments in any given thread aren't to me. So what? How do you think this works, people only reply to or react to comments directed at them? :auiqs.jpg:

It was a weird comment to make about a poster that has expressed their disdain for both of the major US parties fairly often on the board, including in this thread.

This is about where I stand on the issue. It doesn't matter that Trump is currently president, the same issue has existed for a long time, under administrations/congresses of both major parties. I've disliked the way the US deals with the Constitution for most of my adult life. As a nation we...

The executive branch taking power from the legislative branch seems to have been the trend just about from the beginning of the country. The two 'sides' generally only complain when the other 'side' is doing it.

Bill Clinton testifies Trump was not involved with Epstein

Not all crimes have a statute of limitation. And I’d say that dangerous narcissistic arrogant power wielding monster describes Trump at least as well as Clinton. And it probably applies to quite a few people in the Epstein files.

Breaking: In Last Minute Surprise, Paramount Just Won The War For Warner Bros.

Unfortunately, pretty much all of the streaming services have been increasing prices, whether they are true competitors with Netflix or not. https://www.cabletv.com/news/streaming-service-price-increases It would be nice if the Paramount/WB merger led to fewer price increases in streaming, but...

Bill Clinton testifies Trump was not involved with Epstein

I love these sorts of stories. The left will want to ignore Clinton's testimony, while the right will want to point to Clinton as someone to believe. :auiqs.jpg:

Breaking: In Last Minute Surprise, Paramount Just Won The War For Warner Bros.

Netflix is bigger in streaming, but this merger isn't all about streaming. It wouldn't have been even if Netflix had won the bidding. This includes WB theatrical releases. Considering how expensive it has become to try to watch streaming with all of the different companies involved, it's...

Breaking: In Last Minute Surprise, Paramount Just Won The War For Warner Bros.

Why would Netflix have been too big with some, but not all, of WB, but Paramount will not be too big with all of WB?

American men and women win hockey gold, and the left is enraged

Actually, it says that Canadian fans called the game rigged. It's a bit of a clickbait title just showing the usual sort of comments from sports fans when their team loses a big game.

American men and women win hockey gold, and the left is enraged

Did you look at the article? It doesn't talk about people rooting against the USA in the Olympics, but rather the conflict of rooting for the USA while being opposed to what the government is doing. It's a bit over the top, but it is pretty clearly about rooting FOR the USA athletes while...

Olympics Hockey: Team USA v. Canada

I hate 3v3 in a medal game. I’m just glad the NHL hasn’t adopted that for the playoffs

A Fatal ICE Shooting Occurred In Texas Months Before Renee Good’s Killing

To be fair, that is from the ICE report. There is supposedly an investigation by the Texas Rangers that is ongoing. https://apnews.com/article/texas-ice-shooting-ruben-ray-martinez-death-646df2f1212fa48d14a9b270f04c3f76

A Fatal ICE Shooting Occurred In Texas Months Before Renee Good’s Killing

The shooting happened nearly a year ago, but the story just came out, at least the involvement of HSI.

    Replacing Teachers

Assuming that is true, do you think it is because homeschooling is inherently better? Because homeschooled children tend to have more involved parents/guardians? Because homeschool families tend to be on average wealthier? Or some other reason or combination of reasons? Also, do you see a...
