I've been using / doing hypnosis for over a year now in two areas of my life. I find it to be an effective tool for the changes I needed / am making. I just Googled 'sleep hypnosis' and a bunch of sites and videos popped up. One of the reasons I mention this is because one hypnosis dvd session I listen to often, begins with the statement ... 'when you go to sleep tonight and every night, you will fall asleep quickly and sleep soundly'. Again, I don't have an issue with sleeping ... well sometimes I do .. but I can tell you that every night since I've started listening to that, I'm asleep within 3-4 minutes. I believe in hypnosis. I know it works. But, one has to be open and receptive to get the most out of it. Hey, it's an option you may want to look into. I'm sorry you have a problem sleeping and I hope you can get more before you're dead. lol I don't mean to laugh, but sometimes as I'm crawling into bed I tell myself that tonight I'm going to sleep like the dead.
