It's not hyperbole, it's literal....The slave masters in "democracy" are a little more subtle than plantaioners were.

Yeah, I get it, but it's hardly what many would think of as a slave, which is why I classified it as hyperbole designed to make a point. I don't disagree with what he's suggesting.
