The defenders of the Thin Blue Li(n)e argue that the police get rid of bad cops, and that the bad cops are despised by the good cops. I've never seen that, but whatever.
How about a cop who was fired twice, and reinstated twice? It's pretty obvious from the link that the dolt is a liar, and a thug. But he's a cop, and apparently he has a right to be a cop.
SAPD officer challenges termination, wins job back for second time
In the first case, nobody was driving the car. The "cop" refused to answer who was driving the car while intoxicated. In the second, the cop gave his friend his car keys, the friend went out to the cops truck, got the gun, and came back in the bar and shot someone. The cop fled the scene, hid out until the rest of the cops showed up, and then said he was in the bar when it happened, and then was driven home by other cops.
You just can't keep a bad cop down gang. Just think, he's liable to be the one answering your call for help, and God is going to have to put in some overtime on you if Romo does show up to "protect and serve" you.
