Wait a minute. This kind of thing is not supposed to happen in Chicago. Didn't this armed robber undergo a background check before he purchased his gun? Didn't this armed robber have a concealed carry permit?

It's obvious to me that baseball bats need to be strictly controlled, and background checks must be done on anybody who wants to purchase a baseball bat, including Little League baseball players!
