Zelikow is arguably the single most responsible person in covering up the truth about 9-11.

That's just for starters, it was a coverup.
Then, you have a massive propaganda apparatus, including domination of the major TV networks, that pervades this country.
But the more I read, and researched in more detail, the more untenable the official explanations got. I found references to the amount of energy needed to grind up concrete into very small particles, what temperatures are needed to melt steel reinforced components of the WTC.
I especially felt compassion for the families that weren't at all satisfied with the BS commission, and started, for all intents and purposes, the 9-11 Truth Movement.
I can't believe how many of you will just disregard them, and all the first responders, as well as the military who fell for the lies and died for them...
I also found a paper on the dust composition and size. Putting it all together, It calculated the amount of energy it would take to produce the 100,000 or so tons of dust observed per tower. The gravitational energy available wasnt enough. Expended energy can not be used again.
I also read reports about combustion and found that the maximum temperature attained could not have produced the molten metal observed.
NIST didn't come close to explaining any of these things and more of what the truly independent physicists concluded from critical analysis.
This honest search was revealing more and more that the official theory was wrong, and there are plenty of available references, from different credible sources, that aren't beholden or dependent to the US government that concur.
The problem many people have is that once false ideas are implanted its very hard to get rid of them since we tend to reject evidence that contradict our firm, long held beliefs.
Considering that the mind does not like uncertainty, when an authority comes forward and takes charge and explains what happened, we are too happy to accept his message.
They rude awakening happens when the trusted authority is shown to be a liar, and his explanation can not be backed up with meaningful evidence, especially when put through scientific testing, physics being one very important aspect.
Agent Prouty of the FBI stated on TV, At this point the White House is coordinating all public information on a national level." The same White House that lied to us about the events, and said that we were attacked for our "freedoms"-so now we must be subjected to less of them?
The same White house that had lifelong cozy relationships with the Bin Ladens, and let them fly off while American citizens and nationals were being rounded up and tortured?
Where's the logic in handing the "terrorists" a victory by taking away from Americans the things that are sacred to them, that the attackers hate us for and was the "terrorists" reasons for an "attack"?

They are not honest, so what ever they say as an official government authority must be questioned, no matter their political leanings. However, there were slip ups. There were reports of explosions in the buildings before they collapsed. One reporter even stated that the top of one of the towers had exploded. Mayor Guiliani told he had been warned that the towers were going to collapse before it happened. He later denied this but he is refuted by video tapes.
Of course they denied explosions even happened,at first until the proof was overwhelming. They depended on the "Harley guy" plant in front of a microphone immediately after the "collapses" to provide them a preplanned explanation...
So they blamed it on exploding cans of aerosols and the like. They ridicule on sight witnesses that counter the "official" story, that should have provided the motivation to investigate ALL POSSIBILITIES INCLUDING EXPLOSIVES, AND THERMITIC CUTTER CHARGES. (Amazing thermitic isn't even identified in spell check..That is the extent of denial this has gotten to.)
It's amazing that with all the videos of the WTC actually fucking exploding and ejecting tons of materials hundreds of feet away, these people are still desperately coming up with more ludicrous hypothesis to try to explain this away...But it all comes down to the expended energy, and available energy.

My personal feeling about why 9-11 was allowed to happen is simple really. A catastrophic even like Pearl Harbor had to be implemented to kick start the imperialistic wars for the worlds resources. Learning the truth about 9-11 is crucially important for several reasons. Two wars were started because of it. Between a hundred thousand and a million Iraqi civilians (1) and thousands of soldiers have been killed because of the so-called war on terror.
The government used 9-11 to grab many of our freedoms. The Patriot Act has gutted the Bill of Rights, as well as intrusive new government bureaucracies like Homeland Security performing airport strip searches. Third world status as serfs, and no "legal" way to contest anything.
