However, liberals and feminists want men to bear a burden of their health care costs. The new health care bill prevents insurance companies from charging women and men different rates, thanks to Pelosi et al. However, it is still perfectly ok to make men pay more for auto and life insurance.
Georgetown, like many universities, charges the same rate for health insurance for women and men. However, when Fluke argues that insurance should be paying for her BC she is arguing for increased rate hikes that are evenly distributed among both sexes.
Fluke wants insurance companies to pick up her tab for BC, which I don't particularly have anything against. However, I do have something against feminists who demand equally, yet want to make men pay for it.
It like going out to eat. Fluke orders the filet mignon and lobster tail and you order a grill cheese sandwich. At the end of the meal, the receipt comes. How do you pay for it? Fluke calls up the government and demands that you split the bill in half since that would be "fair" and "equal". Then she walks out of the restaurant with a self-congratulatory pat on the back for fighting for "equality".
