Must be because people who work in bookstores get paid too muchMy city has a couple religious bookstores. Other than that the couple aisles at target or Walmart are as close as you are going to get to one.
Maybe. I think the religious bookstores just employee the owners. I know at least one does but that is a weird story. Supposedly the man was stabbed in front of the building where it is and had a religious epiphany as he lay there bleeding out so he opened the store because only God could have saved him and he did. He vows he will never close it, and he is pretty old, so I imagine within the next ten years it will be yet another in the plethora of coffee/sandwich shops in that area. I think the other makes a lot of money via Bible School materials, or so I have heard. Don't know much about them.
