Tell me Dems if Hillary does not run in 2016 who have you got stepping up to the plate I don't see any big names out there.
Biden looks like he would take a crack at it.
He's not as strong a candidate, but he would come with a good resume.
If Christie ran against him..it would be a real horse race.

Will we EVER have another Republican president????
Will we EVER have another Republican president????
It has only been two elections since GW Bush's two terms; so, I wouldn't jump to this conclusion just yet. However, you may be right if the GOP doesn't get with the rest of the nation on a number of big issues -- immigration, gay rights, women's issues.
prolly not in our lifetimesWill we EVER have another Republican president????

Let's see...Obama won over 70% of the latino vote, over 50% of the women vote, over 90% of the black vote, and we all know how much gay people identify with the GOP.
I guess you're right, Staph. The GOP is doing just fine with those groups.

you people have nothing if not for "groups"..that is why you treat people that way too

Very true
If Republicans didn't single out those groups in order to appeal to their wealthy white, Christian base.....the Dems would have nothing
Tell us again how lazy 47% of Americans are
Tell us how women who use birth control are sluts
Tell us about legitimate rapes and gods will
Tell us how overpaid and underworked cops, firemen and teachers are
Republican circular firing squad at work
I might understand the premise of this thread had the Democrats won the presidential election by a landslide instead of 3% and taken the House. A populist incumbent winning a razor-thin election is no death knell to the opposition. The Republicans stand about where the Democrats were in 2004. A lame-duck president whose accomplishments are very limited does not bode well for Democrats in 2016, unless there is an unlikely and significant change of fortune.
Besides, with Obama out of the picture voter participation will collapse with certain demographics unless the Democrats decide to run someone like Sharpton.
It never ceases to amaze me that the Republicans were able to muster 47% and keep the House with their war on women, minorities, workers, gays and the 99%. Who woulda thunk that there would be that many rich white men.Let's see...Obama won over 70% of the latino vote, over 50% of the women vote, over 90% of the black vote, and we all know how much gay people identify with the GOP.

Too friggen funny, they win a re-election with a incumbent Democrat President and all of a sudden that means the whole country has changed to be like them and we will NEVER have another Republican President..though we just had one a mere four years ago..
Lets just OVERLOOK that 48% of the people voted AGAINST the Dear Leader in the last election Obama lost votes in the election, but Republicans will never win again
lefties are some of the goofiest people, especially a so called, reformed Republican as the OP says he is...lol
