Apparently you are easily entertained. So you think that raising the debt ceiling is "what the Democrats want"? as opposed to say "What can't realistically be avoided "? OOOokey dokey!

And apparently you are completely misinformed on the entire issue. Yes, the Democrats desperately want to raise the debt ceiling so Barack Hussein can keep spending. Thats all they've talked about for a month now (besides raising taxes of course).

And it can be avoided. You simply don't do it and it "magically" is avoided. Barack Hussein spent $5 trillion over his budget in only 2.5 years. Had he not done that, he would have plenty of room under the ceiling right now.

Here's a better question for you: why have a debt "ceiling" if congress is just going to raise it every time we hit it? It's not a ceiling at all if it doesn't limit you in any capacity.

Moody's? They have actual economists that work for them...just an FYI.

The Best Plan would be for US companies to stop making their products overseas, pay a competitive wage and to stop hiding their money in the
Cayman Islands. The best plan would be for the US to stop bleeding money in Iraq and Afghanistan and bring those billions and billions of dollars back home where are bridges are falling and our roads are crumbling.

The rest of the world is moving into the 21st century and we can't even fix our 20th century technology.

I don't know. Why do you think the Republicans brought it back when it was gone? Why do you think the GOP voted to raise 7 times without so much as the blink of an eye - oh wait, I forgot. A different guy was in office then.
Not that everyone except Conservatives sees this as a BS Dog and Pony show but well, we do.
It will all be "magically" as you put it, resolved at the last minute and then you can blame the LibDems and they can blame the ConservaRepubs. Biz as usual...

Except that W. had not recklessly spent $5 trillion over his budget in only 2.5 years. When your leader does that, you've lost all arguments to stand on. This is what you liberals fail to comprehend. You try to apply conservative actions under vastly different circumstances to justify atrocious liberal actions & policies. It's weak and ignorant argument and that's why it simply doesn't hold up.

We're $14 trillion in debt - something we've never seen under any GOP president. It took this nation 235 years to irresponsibly find ourselves $9 trillion in debt. It took this radical Marxist only 2.5 years to add 55% of that total. That fact alone ends the debate for liberals.
