The Democrats lost because, after six years of Democrats exploding government, dictatorial behavior, spying on US citizens, disatrous foreign policy, disastrous domestic policy, programs that never worked, lies, excuses, and blaming everyone except themselves for the results of those policies....

... the American people finally realized what kind of people they are. And didn't want any part of them. So they threw them out.

Can you imagine what the turnover would have been like if all 100 Senate seats were being voted on, instead of only 33?
