Trump took the former Obama voters who decided "Trump is going to protect our industries from China" while Hillary was an Open Borders candidate who would NOT stand up to China.

Hillary had the support of celebs and the elite at a time when there was (and still is to some degree) a backlash against them as peoples plights were not pointed positively.

The email reveal did nothing but reinforce is the minds those who believed Hillary was crooked. Policies were far more important that the email reveal and she had little that was different from Obama. It didn't help her of course, but, it isn't the reason she lost. Hardly contributed.

There were several reasons for her loss. Yes, she was unpopular, but so was Trump. She still could have beaten him. There was a large sect of the voting population (leaning mostly Democrat) that stayed home that day.
