Why? Because you feel better because someone is venting anger at something you believe deserves it? Sometimes actions are wayyyyy louder than words. Civil disagreement is no vice. Yelling loudly just because you can get away with it is no virtue. It detracts from what might be done.

It's just who he is, he's incredibly thin-skinned and insecure. He feel he has to defend himself and lash out at any perceived slight, no matter what he has to say to do it.

I guess he may mellow out a bit, once the seriousness of his office sinks in, but there's certainly no guarantee.
