Why did Labour lose the election? An official inquiry will be published shortly, generating further debate as various factions within Labour and outside claim vindication for their own existing views. Here is my pre-emptive subjective explanation and it takes the form of a single event from almost exactly a year ago.

The real reason Labour lost in 2015

It's not hard to see why. The Labour Party members voted for David Milliband, the MPs voted for David Milliband and the Unions voted for Ed Milliband.

So they changed the system which then favored Corbyn, for some unknown reason. Labour are lost, they'll lose the next election too, and Cameron will look good, even though he had the 7th worst Tory GE result since the 1850s in 2010.

Because far too many people remembered the child rape by muslims protected from arrest by the Labour government. They also remembered the front bench Labour M.P's caught in the FBI/CIA sting buying child porn on their parliamentary credit cards. And they remembered the financial hole that we were left in by the inept and useless Labour party who gave away the family silver in return for magic beans.
