Why don't protesters of illegal immigration attack the employers who hire illegal immigrants?

What would be all the implications of forcing employers to hire legal workers? Isn't the basic tenet of economics supply and demand? If you reduce the supply of jobs the illegal immigrants can obtain, fewer will try to come settle here, no?
If we know who is guilty why won't we make a proper step?

Those of us who oppose illegal immigration do want the employers who hire illegal aliens fined and jailed. We support e-verify to stop them. Have you been living under a rock not to know this? It is the GOP that recently introduced a bill to make e-verify mandated in every work place.

What you have asked is the way it is supposed to be. But, when you have both partys wanting in illegals for different reasons, you aren't going to get much help.

There are candidates from both partys running on stopping this madness, but if you are looking at Hilly or Jebster, neither are one of them. Washington is totally out of sync with what the American people want, especially congress; and why shouldn't they be when they have a re-election rate of over 90%. They can basically flip their constituents the bird and get re-elected.

But, I believe 2016 will finally be different. Americans are soooooooo pissed off over this illegal crap, if Mickey Mouse was running for President on that platform and could get in the general election, he would win.

Part of the problem is the current administration at the Federal level is actively choosing to not enforce Federal law, and actively trying to prevent individual states from doing the job it won't. Illegal immigration is unstoppable disaster for the USA.

Blocking the states' attempts is bad enough, but when it goes far beyond "actively choosing to not enforce Federal law" to actively undermining enforcement attempts by Federal agencies, it's even worse.
As for the "Illegal immigration is unstoppable disaster for the USA" part - if we stay on the current track, you're, sadly, probably right.

only a double fence, with manned, actively firing rifle towers will stop it. Only horsewhipping, on public TV, employers of illegals will make the illegals leave. 99% haven't got the stones for either one, much less both. so the US is just going to collapse under the burden of studity, cowardice, and weakness.

Take your pills and STFU, headcase.

That's a good question. But everyone understands that would do the same, hire illegals instead of legal workers to pay them less.

I think the reason lies in the government's disorganization. The immigration system is broken at the very root of it. It's not the illegals fooling the employers, the employers fool the IRS. Most jobs illegal immigrants get are, frankly, lower income/menial labor jobs. And the reason the business hires them instead of citizens is that they're willing to work for less. Money matter. As usual...
