People vote per 2 party line. There are some independents but they are negligible small. Why is this? Even though there is no difference between the 2 major parties.

In my theory this is because the baby boomer generation rules the voting system and they are pre programmed to only think in terms of the 2 major parties.

Those who control American politics will soon start inventing how to coerce younger voters to the 2 party system. What will be the coercion strategies in your minds?

The two party system is probably an inevitable consequence of the winner-take-all elections and the compromise legislative procedure of our all-inclusive legislatures.

History of the United States federal government reveals that new political parties were generated, because of the emerging issues that required attention, and somehow the generation of new parties subsided as the prevailing parties were able to flex their principles to accommodate the citizens' that were dissatisfied with the current executive administration's policy procedures.

It is ultimately a flawed system, because the separation of government powers is incorrectly deployed.

Ralf Nader was 3rd party a couple of decades ago, but his green party sucked balls.

Alliance Party September 2020 Newsletter
As expected for any party aside from the two ruling ones, there have been obstacles at every step, COVID not being the least of these. Most states have numerous hoops that we must jump through to discourage us and make it quite difficult to succeed. Yet, despite some disappointments, we believe, that in the light of all of this we have had a great ballot access portion of our inaugural campaign cycle. There are some final papers to file, but now we move deep into campaign season with direct voter contact.

Libertarian Party of New Mexico Wins Temporary Restraining Order Against New Mexico Secretary of State Maggie Toulouse Oliver

“Secretary of State Oliver tried to deprive New Mexicans of additional choices for the Court of Appeals, plain and simple,” said LPNM Chair Chris Luchini. “She not only failed to account for votes cast for Stephen, but she then refused to respond to our requests for a recount, essentially trying to ‘run out the clock’ before we could get the recount required to potentially get Stephen’s name on the general election ballot.”
