Except when El Nino is exceptionally strong the water is Frigid and normally contaminated with sewerage even then. landslide and fire seasons ? Earth quakes galore. Why would anyone in their right mind live in such a hellhole?

You forgot lack of water, astronomical real estate prices, smog, and gheys.

I stand corrected and thank you.

When I lived in California there were three seasons

Green
Brown
Black

Green when it was rainy and the landscape turned green
Brown when the rains stopped and everything dried up
Black when the brushfires came

Weather. No humidity, no bugs. People get trapped. Kids in school. High paying job. No other state will pay 6 figures, they don't want you.....might be leftist kook. Big state. Costly to find a way out.

Not really 30X appreciation over our 40 year marriage is considered middling here in FL.

Its all about the surf and the girls... Where else are you gonna go besides Hawaii?!

Because here in the quiet, rural areas it's nowhere near as batshit crazy as the big cities everyone hears about. Outside the metro areas, people are more down to earth and traditional.

It's a Welfare State. Folks love their Freebies. That explains most of it. California is quickly going the way of Venezuela. Things are only gonna get worse. Third World Misery is inevitable there. It's what Democrats bring to all locations they control. It is what it is.

It sounds like the cities are already Venezuela north.
