He didn't lie. He stated he was at Turnberry when Brexit happened, which was true. He said the day before he predicted it and was scorned by the media. Which was true. In fact he had been saying it for months, which is why Obama panicked and tried to influence the election by threatening the U.K., saying they would be at the back of the line for a new trade deal with the US.
